This newly renovated apartment in the heart of Chyasal was a joy to stay at. Located on the 3rd floor, the daily morning chants and howling dogs could be heard throughout the day and night but created a picturesque ambiance. The area was very historical and safe and is minutes away from Patan Durbar square and while the it is difficult to locate the apartment on maps, there were landmarks that made things much easier. The apartment itself was very well stocked with supplies, and the Cosy Nepal team provided requested items as well. The bathroom and bedrooms were spotless on arrival and the twice weekly cleaning was a fantastic service. The hosts were attentive and responsive to any issues that arose (e.g. no running water a couple times) and worked quickly to get things fixed. Overall, highly recommend and would stay again!
A few issues with the main door but apart from that everything was excellent, the host was very kind and friendly!
It's a Cosy Nepal apartment! we already knew about them and it's best you can find in Patan. We stayed for two weeks with my wife and two young daughters and everything was great. Very nice apartment, fully equipped, close to Durbar Square, etc, and with super-accessible team respond to you up to the minute. Totally recommended!
Beautiful place, in a perfect location! The team Cosy Nepal are very pleasant and helpful. We are glad we chose this place for 2 weeks. Highly recommended, we will definitely come back again!

Our property is located in the heart of the Old Patan City in a beautiful and very authentic neighborood called Chyasal.
Historically the town has many legendary stories that still fascinates modern days society and living in such a place is a blessing. Once you find your way to emerge and get to know Old Patan more, you will never wish to book hotel in touristic Thamel. The vibrant local life of the Newars (the original ethnic group of the Kathmandu Valley) guarantees you a very rich cultural experience.
Located in the neighborood of Chyasal, East of the beautiful Patan Durbar Square (less than 300m away). Our building is located just next to a boudhist Monastery
• Situated in the heart of Patan historical center (Chyasal Chowk or Bhindyolachi Tole).
• About 300 meters away from Durbar Square (about 2 minutes walk)
• 15 minutes walk to/from Patan Doka (Patan’s Gate)
• 25 min walk away from U.N. House, Sanepa area, Kupondole area
• 20/25 min ride to Thamel
• 15 to 20 min ride to the airport.
Taxis can be found easily in Patan Dhoka and Durbar Square taxi station at all time of the day and night. There are two big public bus stations around (15 min walk away from us): Lagankhel and Patan Doka. From there you can go down to Kathmandu Ratna Park and to many places and villages around.
As a general fact, we discourage our guests to be systematically brought back by taxi or car until our front door (beside the first day of course!).
The old Patan is a very fragile area and cannot handle too much traffic and pollution. Ask the taxi to drop you at "Chyasal Dhunge Dhara" from where our house is locate less than a minue walk.
