Get a bird's eye view of downtown Frankenmuth from The Perch on Main! A stone's throw from St. Julian Winery and less than a 1/4 mile to Frankenmuth Brewery and downtown shops, walk to the heart of the action or relax on the rooftop deck while the horse-drawn carriages go clopping by. This 1892 historic nest has served many purposes over the years from being the home of the local general store owners to now hosting visitors from around the world. Roost your flock at The Perch on Main! The Perch is an upstairs apartment. Park in our free lot, complete with two exclusive spaces for guests, and go up the back staircase to the rooftop deck which leads to the front door of your getaway nest. The Perch features an open living space as well as an optional curtain wall to provide privacy when the Murphy bed is in use. If you need the Murphy bed, please let us know! As seen in many homes of its age, the historic whimsy of this 1892 abode is evident in the bathroom and bedroom where the ceilings are lower. If you’re taller than 6’5” or uncomfortable with ceilings lower than 8 feet, please let us know and we can set up the queen size Murphy bed for you! The Perch is located above Knockout Real Estate. You’ll see the big blue sign out front.

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! Clean, cute, and perfectly placed in downtown Frankenmuth. Andrew made sure we had everything we needed and we appreciated the above-and-beyond hospitality. This was truly one of the nicest stays we have experienced, and we hope to be back! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
A 5-Star experience for sure! Apartment is cozy and decor is tastefully done. Very clean and the mattress is so plush and comfy. We slept better here than we do at home. Great location within walking distance to shops and restaurants. We also enjoyed sitting outside on the deck overlooking the street and enjoying the evening. Will definitely be returning for a future stay.
Absolutely loved our stay in The Perch! Not only was it an amazing location, and walkable to everything Frankenmuth has to offer, it had everything we needed and was such a comfortable space! We had two couples staying and I was a bit nervous about the Murphy bed, but there was a nice privacy curtain and it worked out really well! Andrew and Megan were so responsive and helped me with local recommendations, and even checked in on us throughout our stay. I would definitely recommend this property and would absolutely stay again!
The apartment is in a great location and is beautifully appointed. Andrew was very helpful with anything we needed and even left us some local goodies. Would definitely stay again!!
This is a great alternative to the hotels in downtown Frankenmuth. The Perch is located within walking distance to all the shops and restaurants and a very clean, comfortable place to stay. It is apparent that a lot of care and attention to detail has been paid to ensure guests enjoy the space. I would only suggest making it very clear in the listing that there is no T.V. in the bedroom - a minor inconvenience, but unexpected in 2024. Unfortunately, in today's world, many people need a T.V. to fall asleep, so if I had known there was jlno T.V. in the bedroom, I would have brought my laptop. Again, not a deal breaker by any means (my husband ended up sleeping on the Murphy bed - which was nice to have in the living room), but just would have been good to know. Otherwise, we had a great stay! Thank you so much! :)

We are located in the "top of the hill" area on Main Street in a mostly commercial district. We are just a few doors down from St. Julian Winery and The Station 100 restaurant. The Perch is walking distance to many shops and restaurants, but far enough from the center of town that it's quiet.
Our neighbors do occupy the home, so please be mindful and respectful during your visit.
There are two parking spaces exclusively for our guests.
