Tucked away in central east Austin, Holly sits in a perfect pocket between teeming East 7th Street to the north, residential Govalle to the east, and serene Lady Bird Lake to the south. To the west, the bright lights of downtown (particularly ‘Dirty Sixth’ and Rainey streets) are an easy walk or bike ride away. When you're not out exploring the streets of Holly, you'll find your own little haven right here. The kitchen, with its generous windows, offers a perfect view of the backyard, which is fully fenced in. And with all that countertop space, new stainless steel appliances and open concept design, you'll be cooking up fantastic meals in no time! Speaking of cooking, you can add BBQ to the menu thanks to your outdoor grill! Great place for group of 10! The only hiccup we had was the loft upstairs sleeping area remained pretty humid with the air on, but the rest of the house was nice and cool! The host worked with us to ship back belongings we left which was much appreciated.

This is a perfect spot for a group trip! It is very central to downtown and walkable to other places. The neighborhood itself is really pretty and quiet. The hosts were very responsive and accommodating to our group. We found the hosts instructions very clear. I would definitely stay here again!
The house was beautiful and had the perfect location. The host was very accommodating when it came to early check-in and late check-out. We weren’t satisfied with the unclear house rules. Although this house is intended for larger parties, the walls are very thin and some of the bedroom doors do not fully close. The master bedroom also has very poor ventilation which made it difficult to comfortably sleep on the warmer days. Overall this house was wonderful to stay in and we loved it. Unfortunately with the issues we experienced, I would say it’s not worth the rate we paid to stay in it.
This was the best Airbnb I’ve stayed in to date. The house is modern, unique and clean with lots of stunning details. The neighborhood is nice and walkable with a playground only a block away. Great place for families with young kids!

Grow Zones are areas of land that are taken off the city's mowing schedule so they can grow and recover naturally from urbanization.

Friday nights revolve around the bars on Sixth Street. With the University of Texas and Austin Community College nearby, students go on pub crawls or just enjoy the various nightlife options that the neighborhood offers. One of the most famous bars in Texas resides on Sixth Street, aptly named the Ice Bar. Almost everything inside is made of ice and the bar is, understandably, very cold, so customers are advised to bring a jacket even in the dead of an Austin summer.

Austin is a driving city: if you don’t have a rental car, Uber and Lyft will be your best friends. Alternatively, you can rent a JUMP bike or scooter and zip around for $0.15 a minute.
