Marilyn’s place is very comfortable and located in a great neighborhood. Many restaurants, cafes, and grocery stores nearby, and near many other neighborhoods that have lots to offer. The room was spacious and bright, and the kitchen was highly functional. Marilyn is very friendly and responsive and cooks great meals weekly. My stay was very comfortable and enjoyable.

Marilyn is an amazing host, hands down the friendliest & most welcoming Airbnb experience I've had ever. The place is just like the description, with a cozy and comforting vibe-the room looks even better than the photos! Marilyn was very attentive and caring during my almost 3-month stay, whether that's greeting you with a friendly face in the kitchen or dealing with any issues that come up. The Central District area also has amazing restaurants and groceries, with easy bus connections to nearby Capitol Hill, Downtown, UDistrict, and more within a 5 minute walk. During my stay, she would host a communal house dinner almost weekly, and it was a great way to bond with the other guests over her amazing cooking. Marilyn really IS the sweetest, and I would highly recommend this stay, whether for a weekend or a summer!
