This two bedroom house is situated on a 1.3 acre lot, located right off Maryland 51. Whether you're just passing through or in the area to explore local attractions, this is a great resting spot. The Paw Paw tunnel, historic downtown Cumberland, C&O canal towpath, and more are all located within 15 miles. There’s hiking, biking, canoeing, and fishing options within a few miles of the house or stay at the house and enjoy a quiet getaway. There’s a few books, games and a roku tv for your use. Welcome to our private guesthouse. You will have the property to yourself. This house was built in the 1960's and its age is still evident in features like the original hardwood floor. Much of the interior has been updated and we are excited to offer the house to you as our guests. The kitchen, with all new appliances, has been stocked with the basic things (pots, pans, utensils, etc) you need to cook a meal. If you prefer to go out for meals there are a couple small town options, a favorite being the subs from Millstone Country Store just 4 miles up the road and lots more options in the Cumberland area, about 20 minutes away. There is a small workspace in the second bedroom for those working away from home. There is wifi access to keep you connected during your stay. If you need to do laundry, we can allow access to the washer and dryer upon special request.
