Relax and unwind enjoying the beauty of Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area while staying in your own cabin. Unlike the Smokies, there are never any crowds at Big South Fork. Our cabin is conveniently located right inside White Oak equestrian community. You can ride directly to the BSF riding trails. Multiple hiking trails are nearby in the quaint town of Rugby and Big South Fork. Our cabin is wood inside and out. The tall windows allow stargazing from the comfort of your couch. The new living room furniture lets you relax from a day of adventure while you stay warm by the gas fireplace. The well stocked kitchen makes home made meals easy. Watch our Arabian horses out the kitchen window or from the back porch. The queen beds are new and comfortable. 2 bathrooms make it very convenient to come with another couple. We offer dish TV on the TV located in the living room along with netflix. Enjoy s’mores roasted over the fire pit outside on cold evenings. We have a large run in shed and paddock for your horses along with a shed for your tack and food

Laura was such a sweetheart and offered us advice on places to visit and trails to hike in the area. Some hikes are accessible right from her property which is right next to Big South Fork recreation area. We loved the cabin - beautiful, welcoming, and well cared for. I can think of few things more peaceful than Tennessee breeze and the occasional whinny of her horses nearby. A wonderful stay; we’ll be back! Thank you, Laura!
Laura’s place was ideal for our girl’s hiking trip to Big South Fork. She was extremely flexible with our stay, had great hiking suggestions, and was very proactive in her communication with us. She even introduced us to her horses! The four of us all loved our stay there. We hope to return again soon.

Laura's thoughtful touches were everywhere – from the carefully curated selection of places to visits, nearby hikes, and board games to the well-equipped kitchen that made cooking a joy. Our family loved the outdoor fire pit where we spent my evenings making S'mores! Laura's hospitality was the cherry on top of an already delightful stay. Her attention to detail, prompt communication, and genuine warmth made me feel welcome and cared for throughout my visit. She provided valuable local recommendations, ensuring I got the most out of my time in the area. If you're looking for a getaway that seamlessly blends comfort with nature, Laura's cabin is an absolute gem. 10/10

White Oak equestrian community is one of the premier equestrian communities in Big South Fork. Smaller than the other communities, we are a close knit bunch. You can feel very safe and secure here.
There is a circular drive that makes pulling a horse trailer in easier. We also have a small carport available.
