For friends or a family dreaming of spending a relaxing holiday overlooking Lake Windermere and exploring the surrounding area, this elegant Lakeland home is the perfect property. Take the nearby ferry to Bowness (2.5 miles), an ideal foodie destination with an abundance of pubs, restaurants and cafes. This stylish, traditional cottage is the ideal place to get away from it all and unwind. Inside, discover the snug area which features a Smart TV, a plush leather sofa and a bay window with seating and stunning views of Lake Windermere. The lounge opposite shares the same amazing views and is a social space with a three-seater sofa, two armchairs and a Smart TV. Walk through to the contemporary kitchen/diner which is equipped for all your needs and has a cosy wood burner to enjoy while eating at the dining table. In the hallway, one floor down, you'll find a shower room and a back door leading to the parking area. Upstairs, you'll find a king-size bed with an en-suite shower room and a twin room. The last bedroom is a double with its own private balcony. The front garden with outdoor furniture offers lovely views over Lake Windermere and is ideal for a relaxing al fresco dinner. Additionally, there are shared gardens to enjoy with marvellous views across the water. Beatrix Potter's home, Hill Top, is less than 1.5 miles away and from there, you can drive to the picturesque village of Hawkshead (3.5 miles) which offers a quieter atmosphere and has a few pubs, cafes, and shops to choose from.
