On arrival, you’re met with a cosy lounge that’s perfect for two, complete with a love seat sofa and a TV to keep you entertained. Continue through into the spacious kitchen which offers an ideal sleeping spot for your four-pawed pal. All of the appliances have been thought through to take the load off throughout your stay, including the addition of a dishwasher and a coffee machine. For dinner, you have the option to step out via French doors to dine alfresco from the pretty lounge or settle at the dining table indoors. Also on the ground floor is a bedroom with a zip-and-link super-king-size bed for versatility. As they’re often on hand to offer advice on the local area, you may perhaps ask the property’s owners which walking routes they’d recommend. Located in the foothills of Sugar Loaf mountain, you’ll even find a waymarked pathway leading to the summit from the cottage’s back garden. Should you wish to try out a less taxing hike, Table Mountain is close by (3.5 miles) and offers a great view of Crickhowell (2 miles). Head to the top and admire the view whilst planning which Crickhowell or Abergavenny (5 miles) restaurant you wish to frequent that evening.
