Just around the corner from the 6 person dining room table, take a nap in the cozy queen bedroom with comfy mattress and yummy bedding. The bathroom is conveniently right next door to this bedroom and also right next to the office! In the kitchen, make yourself a drink at the coffee bar and settle in to the nook to watch the squirrels play. The charming kitchen is all updated with everything you need to make your meals! With stainless steel appliances, and a full set of spices, you are ready to go! We are minutes away from Riverside State Park for hiking, the Centennial Trail that will take you all the way to Coeur d’Alene, Riverfront Park, and so many lakes! One hour to Silverwood and Mt Spokane for skiing! Pets? $25/small dog per night, up to $100 total/small dog. Airbnb doesn’t charge correct amount so you will get an additional billing to be paid before stay. Thank you! Also, please note that in February and March, there is an older gentleman painting/finishing up some work in the locked off basement for us, so you may see him in the driveway! He will be using a separate entrance, so you will not interact with him unless you see him outside! If, for any reason, he is an inconvenience, please let us know!
This house was absolutely perfect for our weekend in Spokane visiting family. Easy walk to the park for little ones and great hiking by the Spokane River within walking distance. The house was clean, warm, charming, and had everything we needed for our visit. Beds were clean, plenty of towels were provided, and the great instruction manual gives clear instructions for everything and provides suggestions for restaurants and activities. Teri was super easy to make contact with and quick to reply. We will certainly keep this house on our short list for stays as we are in the area a few times a year.
The “Charming Audubon Park Bungalow” was perfect! I commend Terri and co-hosts for creating an amazing stay in a charming Tudor Bungalow. Inside and Out, it is perfectly restored/maintained to its original charm. You are welcomed to the house by an amazing front door, beautiful hardwood floors, and detailed trim throughout. Of course, the Audubon Park neighborhood is perfect for this home. The neighborhood is full of (almost) century old Tudors, Craftsman, Cape Cod, and Colonial homes. The towering Ponderosa pines in the park and scattered throughout everyone’s yards caps off the charm of this quiet, well-kept urban neighborhood. The house was spotless clean with all the needed amenities for our stay. We really enjoyed our morning coffee and walks in the park. Other highlights include comfortable living room, great beds, and amazing water pressure (not always true for older neighborhoods).
Great place to stay. Nothing bad to say about it. Good location that is central to most of the things that we wanted to do. The park that is next to the house was very helpful for the kids.
The Audubon Park neighborhood is the darling of Spokane. It is close to everything, is clean and safe, and has the most charming homes!
Right around the corner, you will find wonderful pizza at the Flying Goat, a lovely brunch or dinner at downriver Grill, tasty brew at for the love of God brewery or great Mexican food. Walmart, Safeway and gas stations are also right nearby, as well as downtown and hospitals. Airport is about 15 minutes away. Truly one of the best locations in Spokane!
It is a 15 minute ride in an Uber to just about anywhere! Enjoy private off road parking for up to two vehicles.
