Relax with the whole family at this peaceful, quiet country home with all the amenities. Enjoy the beautiful surroundings, take in the myriad stars at night, cook your own meals, explore the countryside. 20 minutes from Seligman in one direction, and the same from Williams in the other. This is a 3-bedroom home with 2 full baths and a full kitchen. Each bedroom has a queen-sized bed. The master bedroom has an ensuite bathroom, and the 2 smaller bedrooms share a bathroom. There is also a laundry room in case you need to wash clothes during your stay, and there is even a shed that is finished on the inside and offers an additional futon for sleeping.

David’s place was my wife’s and I favorite stay we’ve ever been to. It was exactly what we were looking for. Peaceful, plenty of land for the dog to run around on, and the hot tub was amazing for star gazing. Highly recommend!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at David's place. His instructions were very clear and made it very easy to find the location (the road really isn't bumpy in my opinion). His place was private, peaceful and great for anyone looking to escape the big city. The view of the stars at night is absolutely priceless and the surroundings are serene. You will not be disappointed. All of the amenities as listed were provided which was great. He was also very responsive to any questions we had and made the stay very enjoyable. Loved our stay in David’s home! It warmed up quickly in the cold weather, and the bed was clean and comfortable. My dogs loved the outdoor space, and we even got to see the stars and beautiful galaxy before waking up to a dusting of snow the next morning! The dirt road was bumpier than expected, and not much in the area except a wonderful gas station not too far off. Listed that there’s no wifi, and with Verizon I only had one unstable bar, which wasn’t an issue for me but worth mentioning. Thank you David, for opening up your warm house to us. It was even better than the photos, and made our visit to Arizona and the Grand Canyon much more welcoming
House was great, easy to get to and very easy to check in. Only downside was the long, rough dirt road to get to the house.

The address for this home is listed as Williams, AZ, but the actual location is in the small, rural town of Ash Fork about 17 miles west of Williams. The house is on 2 acres of land, covered with juniper pine trees and beautiful views. It is about 6 miles from downtown Ash Fork in a peaceful, rural setting and about 4 miles of the access route are on county-maintained dirt roads. The property is completely fenced so a dog could be allowed to roam without fear of it "escaping." Please note that this is not an urban location and there are few houses or amenities nearby. In fact, you could likely spend a week there and never hear another car go by. The views of the stars at night, and the peaceful surroundings are amazing, but if you're a city slicker, maybe not the place for you. :-)
The roads to get here include 4 miles of dirt roads, but they are all county-maintained and there is no requirement for 4-wheel drive. The driveway is stone-covered, and there is plenty of room for parking, including, but not limited to, a concrete slab with room for 2 vehicles.

Most of my "travel" has been to eastern Turkey to try and find the remains of Noah's Ark--climbing Mt. Ararat--so it has been much work, spartan facilities, and very little relaxation. I do hope to change that in the future (especially after I document the remains of Noah's Ark). I love the mountains of Colorado, hiking and "getting away from it all," relaxing with a good book poolside, or just by a stream.
