This stylish lodge is perfect for family reunions, group trips and wedding parties. HUGE great room common area. Most every bedroom has its own private bathroom or one near. Numerous spaces inside and out to gather in small or large groups. With the giant hot tub and seasonal pool, swim or soak every day of the year. It's just a five minute drive to the huge Keystone Lake State Park. Swimming, boating and world class fishing await you. SEVEN king or queen bedrooms plus 2 queen hide a beds. Enter this spacious lodge via a lighted gradual ramp to the second floor, which is the main living area. Two bedrooms on each of the three floors. Three hide a beds. One additional bedroom with a futon-like bed. Dining seating for up to 18 people. Huge pool deck. Hot tub comfortably seats eight. Bathrooms really aren't that fancy, but two of the full baths have showers and the third has a shower with a tub. The house was really different than the pictures portrayed. When we got there the house wasn’t very clean. There was an odor that made me feel like it had been sitting empty for a long time. There were dead ladybugs all over the kitchen and dining room floor. There was noticeable carpet stains on the small stairwell to the second floor. The outside lights never turned on. On the second day we were in the living room hanging out and lifted the rug up and noticed there was a ton of dust and dirt under the rug. The page for the house said that there were tons of towels we could just open drawers and look around for them. We didn’t realize we needed to look in the washer and dryer! The only other things were personal annoyances like too much clutter in the house on the walls and Knick knacks. The bedding didn’t all match. Like there was a fitted sheet on a bed and then a different color flat sheet and different color pillow cases.
Erwin was very responsive to anything we needed. He was even able to accommodate us a day early due to bad weather.
Good place for a large group to stay.
The place is ok but we didn’t have enough towels and I got stung by a wasp and I killed about 12. There was a lot of dust and insects as well.

This home was originally the clubhouse for an upscale Lakeside property development. However, there are only a couple houses close by and most of them are down the road two or three blocks. So it feels like it's in the woods. There's also a pretty view of the lake, especially during the winter when there are less leaves on the trees
You will definitely want to take a car. No public transportation would be very convenient to this property.
