Welcome to our peaceful and stylish York town house! This enchanting retreat exudes charm and offers a comfortable and smart stay. Perfect for couples, or families with young kids, our thoughtfully designed guest suite features its own private entrance, cloakroom, shower room and sitting room, providing convenience and privacy. Immerse yourself in the charm of York, knowing that you have a peaceful and stylish sanctuary to return to at the end of the day. The guest suite, located on the lower ground floor, includes a private entrance, cloakroom, bedroom, shower room, and a separate sitting room. The sitting room features doors that open up to the back garden and a wood-burning stove. The accommodation does not have a separate division from the upstairs floor, which comprises a shared kitchen and dining room available to our guests.

Lovely host, very welcoming and accommodating and the property was very homely and cosy! Only about 10 minutes from the train station so perfect location.
We loved our stay at Georgia’s Airbnb. Georgia & her son were both so lovely, thoughtful & inviting. The apartment itself is beautifully furnished & extremely comfortable. Location very central, but still quiet somehow. We all had a great nights sleep all nights. The entrance proved a little tricky for us - it has quite a steep narrow set of steps and narrow entrance door to the basement apartment. We brought our 6 month old & found it difficult at times carrying her down the steps and into the apartment…... without the baby probably would not have been an issue.
We had a great stay in Georgias apartment. Georgia is an exceptional host, we felt warmly welcomed and home immediately. She was very helpful and made sure we enjoyed our stay to the fullest. Highly recommended, also great location to explore York
We enjoyed our stay in York. The airbnb is located just inside the city walls and we found it easy to walk to everywhere we wanted to go (can even walk along the city walls into the centre). Georgia was helpful and kept in communication with us throughout the stay. The bed was comfortable and the living room next to it was lovely. There is a separate entrance, but the rooms are also open to the rest of the house. This worked fine for us (and how airbnb was originally intended!) But worth knowing it's not entirely self-contained, if this is your preference.

Priory Street is situated just off Micklegate, a vibrant street with an array of bars, restaurants, and cafes. If you need any recommendations, don't hesitate to ask. It's worth noting that York is a bustling city, so it's advisable to make reservations well in advance. Our property is conveniently located within a 5-minute walk from the River Ouse, a 10-minute walk from the city center and The Shambles, and a 15-minute walk from York Minster.
Permit parking is available upon request. The city centre and local sites can be accessed on foot.
