This was my first time staying in one of the lodges, previously when I have come to Suffolk with the dogs I have stayed in a cottage - those within my price range have always been disappointing- dated or very limited in space or resources. On arrival at Rose Cottage I was immediately impressed by how cosy it was, how spacious it was and how clean and well kept it was. The location is fabulous, my deck looked out over the river which I imagine in summer would be fabulous to enjoy a drink in the evening. Being extremely wet and muddy it proved a great place to rinse off the dogs! The lodges are set far enough apart to guarantee privacy and avoid hearing your neighbours conversations! All in all a fabulous base for my week visiting family and friends in Suffolk without being ridiculously overpriced. Highly recommend.
