I am leaving a poor review because of the rental company, Vacasa, and because of the inaccurate amenities listed. Under different management and with an accurate listing, I would have left a higher review as the water is beautiful and it’s a comfortable house. I notified Vacasa multiple times during our stay of the following issues: - The description of the home says there is a gas grill, there is not. -Description says multiple tvs, the 2nd TV had a broken power button (couldn’t be turned on) and there was a tape stuck in the VHS player. -Description says there is a paddle boat, it is broken and covered with tarps and bricks and wood. Unusable. -Towel rack hanging off the wall -We found beer cans under the dock, wine corks under the furniture, dirty mugs outside, garbage in the planters. Makes me question how clean the rest of the house was. Vacasa’s communication was very poor (telling me amenities weren’t supposed to be there when they were clearly listed in the description) and my issues were never addressed or resolved to my satisfaction. At the very least, I asked them to update the listing so future renters aren’t fooled by expecting amenities that aren’t available. There was also signs posted at the dock (and visible at other neighbors docks) saying the lake water had been used recently for some environmental testing and various chemicals had been added so not to swim or drink out of it for 3 days. The sign appeared to be from July so we still swam, but it was a little concerning. Again, this house could be great under different management and with some TLC but in its current state I was disappointed.

Lovely location and we took advantage of the beautiful lake and kayaks. Very restful and the house was clean and well appointed.

THE LAKE HOUSE WAS A GREAT PLACE TO STAY! LOVED THE LAKE VIEW ! THE KIDS WANT TO COME BACK DURING THE SUMMER TO ENJOY FISHING, BOATING AND SWIMMING.

This place was great. Location can’t be beat, water was surprisingly warm, VHS collection was insane (it literally looked like they had bought all the VHS tapes from a local video store that went out of business), beds were really comfy. We would love to come back!
