The open-concept kitchen in the main house is a wonderful gathering space, featuring a grand custom island for food preparation, along with modern stainless appliances; gas oven + cooktop, microwave, and refrigerator. Sam & JJ were excellent to work with before and during our stay. The home was perfect for our group. There was adequate space for all of us and I loved the ability to have my morning coffee (in one of the apartments) without disturbing the late risers. One of our group members is a nightshift nurse, so has a crazy sleep schedule. There is enough separation that this didn't impact anyone else. The main living areas are open, so it allows for great group interaction. Of course, we spent most of our time sitting by the pool or enjoying the breeze on the upper terrace. The house is very well located. We were able to walk to a number of places within about 20 - 30 minutes. Great experience!
Perfect location spent a week there while attending a wedding the Saturday of our weeks stay walked to local restaurants 3 times ventured out on excursions 2 days with a car rental great location for many activities
Beautiful home that matches description. We had multi-family group in Merida for a school trip and the home was well laid-out for our needs. Kids loved the pool and adults the outdoor seating areas. What stands out the most is the hosts - Sam and JJ started with greeting us and orienting us to both the home and the area’s many restaurants, shops, etc. JJ was responsive to our questions throughout the week and continued to give us recommendations to help us know the area. We would stay here again and will recommend to our school group next year!

We had a great time at this beautiful property (better that the pictures). The host is super attentive and always available in case of support. They were able to refer us to local places and contacts for transportation that made our stay much easier. You will be walkable distance to restaurants and downtown attractions.

We are in a VERY walkable and PRIME location in CENTRO, MERIDA. The Convention Center is also less than 2 blocks away.
Paseo Montejo - Merida's main avenue patterned of the Champs Elysées in Paris - is about an 8 minute walk away. This tree-lined street is full of history and some of the most beautiful buildings in Merida. It features coffee shops, shopping, restaurants, bars, Starbucks, museums, and night markets. On Sunday mornings and once a month on the first Saturday night, Paseo Montejo closes to traffic and becomes pedestrian, as it hosts the “Biciruta”, a great place to exercise with bikes, roller-blades, socialize with the locals or just walk around to see the many pop-ups on this beautiful avenue. You can rent bikes for the day for just 20 pesos! It is not to be missed if you are here on any Sunday morning, or the first Saturday night of the month!
Paseo 60 is about a 5 minute walk away, where you can enjoy delicious food from multiple restaurants and shopping all day, as well as live music and festivities in the evenings. They also have a co-working office at Paseo 60.

Even Walmart is only about a 10 minute walk from the home, where you can get supplies, groceries, and everyday essentials.
We have safe and free street parking in front of the house, if you have a car. Uber and Didi are also abundant and very affordable. You can get to most places in the city for just a few dollars.
Even without transportation, this location is very walkable to the city sites, restaurants, cafes, bars, shops, monuments, museums, and more!
