Our house is a wonderful four bedroom home in the heart of one of Berkshire's prettiest villages. The house is perfect for families, friends or couples looking for a peaceful place to stay, and only a short stroll to the River Thames, beautiful countryside walks, local pubs, and a direct train line to London. The local area includes an awesome wildlife park, a National Trust house/gardens, a quick drive to Henley-on-Thames, high quality restaurants, and so much more!

Perfect location in beautiful Streatley. We were down for the weekend to attend our friend's wedding. House was well appointed and provided a cosy stay. We even managed to enjoy the outdoor dining area! A few welcome amenities would have made this a 5+ stay, and the dishwasher hadn't been emptied when we arrived but that's a small quibble. The host was quick to inform us of a leak before we arrived, and rectified a missing bed sheet. If you're staying in the area we'd recommend the property for sure :-)

A great house in a great location. Walking distance into Streatley and Goring. Very close to footpaths for dog walks. Very comfortable beds! Hosts were very quick to respond to questions and very helpful with a late checkout at the last minute. Would definitely recommend for a stay in Streatley.

Woodfield Cottage is located in Streatley a beautiful part of the UK on the edge of the North Wessex Downs Area of Natural beauty. Close by is the Thames River which offers water sports and boat cruising, as well as a picturesque back drop for many pubs and restaurants.
Busy Reading is close by a major shopping Centre boasting the best of the UK's retailers, John Lewis, Zara, Primark as well as many independent stores and eateries.
Onsite free parking is available.
Streatley is served by public transport and local train station Goring allows for connection to London via Reading.
