We loved the house, but the kitchen cupboards were so cluttered it was hard to find the things we needed. The view was fabulous. It was quiet and peaceful.

Nice location. 2 full beds. One day bed in living room. A bit cluttered with owners stuff in closets, etc but overall nice stay. Nice view. Great blackberry bushes.

We had a great stay at the house with beautiful views of Mud Bay. It’s definitely off the beaten path on the south end of the island. Definitely recommend starting here.

The views are beautiful but the home itself is old, poorly maintained and very dirty. Lots of cobwebs and dust and the carpets were gross and stained. Towels and linens were also stained and gross. Lots of old junk and personal belongings everywhere. Overall I felt it was on par with a seedy roadside motel in terms of cleanliness and quality. It’s also run by a big corporate management company with extremely slow response times and non-existent customer service. Would definitely not book again.

The setting is amazing. The house is fine, if a bit old. The furniture is aging and mismatched, which detracts from the experience. Some of the outlets don’t work which is only an inconvenience. The bathroom was very good and the kitchen was fine but the pots, pans, utensils, and everything else were very cluttered. For example, there were plenty of glasses jammed together, but none matched. Food had been left behind in the cabinets, but much of it probably should be tossed. This space feels like you’re borrowing the cabin of a friend’s friend. It’s functional.
