Great location. The house needs a major upgrade. We knew from the photos on AirBnB that it was a little bit of a shack. But really it was too much of a shack. The electrical wiring is run in exposed conduit, the heating is baseboard type, but is mounted high up on the walls, next to the curtains, a certain fire hazard. Wifi was poor. The kitchen cabinets need replacing, the furniture and decor are all stained and need replacing. 3 morning we heard critters running along the walls, it was hard to tell if they were in the walls or running on the exterior deck. But they definitely were 4 legged. Having dealt with infestations, it was creepy.

The place is very outdated. Needs newer furnishings. Couch and table pretty much unusable. No real oven or dishwasher. It would be fine for a couple of guys fishing or hunting but not for a family. The worse problem was there were only 3 bath towels. We emailed and text and got the run around.

This home is perfect for someone looking for beautiful views in a rustic yet charming setting. The surrounding area is great. You can walk to a big park/beach. The nearby town has a cute coffee place. Recommendations: make sure you note that one bedroom does not have a door, no conventional oven and bring slippers. We really enjoyed our stay and will visit again!

This place is right on the water. It’s in a quiet neighborhood and very peaceful. The house is nothing fancy but with the view from the windows you don’t really notice it. We enjoyed our stay here.
