Welcome to The Pacifica Inn located in Volcano on the Big Island of Hawai’i. The Pacifica Inn is a special little place out in the middle of the Pacific Ocean where you can experience peacefulness and tranquility. Come and enjoy the beautiful Hapu’u trees that surround the property. Relax and enjoy the sounds of endemic birds and their melodies while the Coqui frogs sing at night. Consider staying in one of our rooms at The Pacifica Inn. We don’t do luxury at The Pacifica Inn, we do Hawai’i! The Nene Room is a private cozy room that offers a queen size bed that will comfortably sleep 1-2 guests. On cold nights, warm up with an extra cozy blanket or simply use the built-in wall heater. Set a peaceful mood at night by turning on the landscape light and enjoying the panoramic views of the forest. As your host, we offer free, fast, and reliable internet (500MB) as well as a smart 32 inch TV for your entertainment needs. The studio has a full bathroom supplied with simple toiletries: -Shampoo -Conditioner -Body Wash -Hand Soap -First Aid Kit -Hair Dryer -Towel warming rack The kitchenette is equipped with a -Mini fridge -Microwave -Toaster -Electric water/tea kettle -Mini Keurig -Utensils & 2 mini plates -Two bowls -Coffee mugs & Glass cups -Coffee & Sugar There is free parking on the premises, limited to 1 vehicle per unit rented. There is no additional street parking available.

Was so grateful to see this beautiful place back on the rental side . Phenomenal location and great design right in the heart of the fern Forrest . Waking up to the birds and the rain with a cup of coffee in this amazing place … can not get much better than that .
This place was gorgeous, however we had a few hiccups.The room did smell wet and like mildew. All of the windows were open when we got there( it was raining) I’m not sure why or if they were supposed to be because there was no guest book with the usual notes about a property. The coffee machine was broken, Jennifer responded with where we could get a new one, however we were already on our hike at that point. The bed is under a sun roof, so be prepared to have light in your face at 6:30am. The parking is real tight, took a while to get out when there were other cars there. Most of these things are minimal my big issue was the fact that I was given the wrong code for the room and was instead given the code for the room next door. It made me nervous to leave my things there wondering if the people next door were possibly given my room code on accident as well.
We really enjoyed our time, very peaceful and amazing scenery. We highly recommend!
This location was beautiful. Waking up in the morning to the beautiful ferns was like a dream. the room was clean, the bed was comfortable. Location near restaurants and convinced store only minutes away from the HVNP entrance. Jennifer did a great job helping navigate the area and answering all my questions.

The Pacifica Inn Nene Room is located in a quaint and mellow subdivision known as the Mauna Loa Estates. Here, you will be able to go out on an early morning stroll or jog. It's such a great way to take in the community.
Down the road, across the street, in the small town of Volcano, Hawaii you will find a small village with local restaurants and shops.
The best way to get around on the Big Island is a vehicle.
The local Hele-On bus is free.
You can find Hele-on bus schedule on Hawaii County website. You can also find tips and tricks on how the bus operation works here on the Big Island.
You can take the Hele-On bus on Hwy 11 to Hawaii National Park. Pick up is 1 mile from the house at the Kilauea General Store.
Be sure to wave the bus driver down.
