Great space in a beautiful location. Loved taking my truck down the dirt roads to this remote river home. It’s very quiet and peaceful. The amenities and everything included in the stay are above and beyond. We will definitely be back!
I don't usually write such enthusiastic reviews but this place was incredible. Beautifully decorated, spacious enough for an entire family or more, well maintained yard, hot tub, deck etc. I really can't recommend it enough for a getaway. I intended to go hiking and ended up staying at the cabin because I was enjoying the dock so much. The road in is paved until the last quarter mile. It's gravel and kind of narrow after that, but my car that's pretty low to the ground had no trouble.
This cabin is an absolute gem and the location is amazing. Located right on the bank where the Toccoa meets the lake, it’s a very special place. We had a few issues with our stay and Blue Sky (host) tried to make it right. We had issues with cleanliness, wifi, the hot tub, and generally just felt the cabin wasn’t quite ready to be rented out. Overall, with some fixes and tweaks this is one of the best cabins available in the Blue Ridge area. Being able to wake up to the water every morning is magical. The cabin is large enough to fit two families, but my family of 5 enjoyed the place very much. Being the first people to rent it had its pros/cons but overall I would recommend this cabin. You are located 10-15m from downtown, a few minutes from tubing, and right on the lake. Thanks to Blue Sky for trying to make it right. If you are WFH I would call ahead to ensure the wifi is up and running. Other than that, I would recommend the cabin to anyone.
