Ismay Dining Room Suite in Waterloo, Merseyside can sleep four in one bedroom. The kitchen houses a microwave oven, fridge and the living/dining room has two king-size beds, an electric fire, Smart TV and a dining area. To the outside is off-road parking for one car and a patio and front lawn. This is a non-smoking property but two well behaved dogs under 25kg are welcome. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Within 1.3 miles or less there is a shop, pub and beach. Choose Ismay Dining Room Suite for a magnificent escape. A nostalgic place to visit, as I was born nearby, and know the beautiful terraces along the front at Waterloo from my childhood. 13 Beach Lawn is of particular interest to anyone who loves Liverpool shipping and its history. The apartment was beautifully appointed with period furniture and framed memorabilia celebrating Ismay, the house's first owner. The Dining Room Suite was a huge room, but still warm and comfortable, with a picture window to sit at, and watch towards river and beyond. Boasting a very calm and peaceful situation, near to the beach, it was perfect for our short stay, (4 nights), but there are no cooking facilities, bar a microwave, so maybe not ideal for a week or more. The only issue we found was the lack of hot water at various times. Very hot in the morning but nothing on some evenings. Easy access to South Road, with its bars and restaurants, and Waterloo Station for a twenty minute train ride into Liverpool, it offers the best of both worlds.
A lovely place to stay which exceeded our expectations. We read reviews before we booked which said there was no ironing board or hair dryer, so we brought our own. Actually both were provided! We will definitely book again!
Comfortable, quiet. Nice touches on the tea/coffee and hot chocolate. Lovely toiletries and towels. Sewing kit came in handy. Place mats for the table would be a useful addition. Overall, a most enjoyable stay.

Offering a wide range of amenities, such as pubs, restaurants, and cafes to suit all tastes and budgets, well-stocked convenience stores for grabbing any necessities, a picturesque park, a boating lake, and the lovely Crosby Beach, which is home to an outstanding work of contemporary art by Antony Gormley and provides a lovely setting for leisurely walks or bike rides. Ride the train into Liverpool's city centre, where you can explore the Royal Albert Docks and find the Tate Liverpool as well as the legendary Cavern Club and indulge in some retail therapy at Liverpool ONE. The Titanic Memorial, The Beatles Pier Head statue, and the renowned Liver Buildings can all be found by strolling along the Liverpool Waterfront.
