It provides two bedrooms comprising of a double and a twin room, along with a family bathroom and a cloakroom, this property can sleep up to four people. The interior also offers an open-plan living area which has a kitchen, a dining area and a sitting area with an electric woodburner. To the outside you will find off road parking for two cars and a lawned area with a table and chairs. The Old Chapel is a cosy and characterful cottage in a lovely Derbyshire location.

Can I give more than 5 stars?!... Incredible finding... We had a superlative experience in this beautiful and adorable converted home (from a chapel)... The place has a special energy... it's so welcoming and homey... they thought of all the details... Everything works perfectly, the luxurious touches and details add to this wonderful experience since the moment you drive into the site... Great great great experience. I cannot recommend it more... The owners are so lovely and welcoming. The location is at the right distance from main Peak District locations, with a good balance between tranquility and convenience/proximity to places. The only little warning to heavy internet users is about the internet speed, which is -understandably due to location- a little slow. Everything else is just perfect. Thanks for this gorgeous experience. JC

In the Derbyshire Dales, Handley is two miles from Clay Cross and has a shop and three pubs. Three miles west is the village of Ashover. In the Amber Valley and close to Matlock, this location offers a golf course and several pubs. Matlock also offers fine eateries, shops and a museum. The town centre has Leys Hall Park, a place for bowls, tennis and boating. Gulliver's Kingdom, Matlock Gorge and The High Peak Cycle Trail are close by, making this a wonderful area.
