Connie and Art’s place is absolutely lovely and also has a fantastic yard fronting on the McKenzie wetlands. Additionally, they are exceptional and uncommonly kind hosts. I stayed for about 6 weeks (having just moved to Oregon) and enjoyed every minute of it. I have no hesitation giving my most enthusiastic recommendation! Stay at their place – I think you’ll be glad you did.

Art and Connie are great hosts. It was always nice to have a little chat with them. The apartment and the garden are beautiful and surrounded by beautiful nature. They also let me use their smoker and outdoor fireplace, which was a great experience.

Art and Connie are amazing hosts. They were very responsive and we were encouraged to call Art directly with any issues. The apartment was spacious and fully equipped for a longer stay. We were invited to use the property and an outdoor fire pit. The view from the deck was lovely and relaxing with a water view where we saw beaver and a blue heron. As we were visiting friends in Eugene, we found this place to be an easy drive to North or South Eugene. This is a place where we would happily stay again.

We stayed here for a month during a fire evacuation. Art and Connie were welcoming and very accommodating of the uncertainty in our schedule. The place is attractive with nice furnishings and textiles, a fully functional kitchen, and a great back porch with a view of the pond and trees. Art and Connie went above and beyond to make us feel at home, and we couldn't have found a better situation. The property has a rural feel with easy access to town and a head start on upriver travel. We feel like we lucked out on this rental.

Art and Connie’s barndominium was the total package, we stayed a whole month Clean, quiet and comfortable with a large deck overlooking trees with clucking chickens below..you are three stories up…like living in tree house! The large space had a beautiful open concept full kitchen, chock a block with everything you would need to cook a full meal or even bake a cake. A clean, well ventilated bathroom with a shower tub combination…plenty of hot water, soap, shampoo…they thought of everything. Loft bedroom with a big closet and drawers for all your stuff…nice comfy bed. There is a gym setup..a weight machine, free weights and Elliptical machine. Also a beautiful up to date washer and dryer that is located on this level. They even bought us basic groceries and provided eggs from their chickens for our first week there.. We had some very hot days and the fans and upstairs air conditioner cooled the whole place…a gas fireplace heated it nicely, We would definitely stay again.
