The place is nicely decorated, we enjoyed our stay. It’s close to a metro and train station so it’s also easy to move around. We were very comfortable and the host was very responsive to our inquiries.
Nestled in the heart of Paris, the XIXth arrondissement is a lively neighborhood that perfectly combines history, culture and greenery.
Parc de la Villette:
One of the largest green spaces in Paris, the Parc de la Villette is a true jewel of the district. With its vast lawns, playgrounds, open-air concert stages and Cité des Sciences, it's the ideal place for a family outing, a romantic stroll or a relaxing moment in the sun.
Canal de l'Ourcq:
Winding its way through the neighborhood, the Canal de l'Ourcq is more than just a waterway. It's a living space, lined with picturesque cafés, boutiques and strolling areas. Whether you want to hire a boat for a little cruise, sit on its banks with a book, or simply enjoy the view, the canal is a place not to be missed.
Local shops:
The XIXth arrondissement is brimming with small shops that make the district so rich. Bakeries with the aroma of freshly baked bread, delicatessens selling local produce, colorful markets selling fruit, vegetables and other delicacies - everything is close at hand for an authentic Parisian experience.
To live or stay in the 19th arrondissement is to immerse yourself in a vibrant, historic and resolutely modern Paris. Whether you're here for a day or a decade, the district is sure to charm you.
Metro station:
Just a short walk away, you have access to Crimée station on metro line 7. This line crosses Paris from north to south, offering direct connections to key points such as the Opéra, the Louvre and Place d'Italie.
RER :
Rosa Parks station on the RER E line is also within walking distance. It's ideal if you're planning to travel to the eastern suburbs of Paris or for a quick connection to Gare Saint-Lazare or Gare du Nord.
Bus :
Several bus lines also serve the district:
Rosa Parks: lines 60, 239 and N140.
Crimée Curial: line 54.
Curial Crimée: line 45.
These buses offer connections to many other parts of the city, which can be handy for journeys not directly covered by the metro or RER.
Bikes and more:
For those who prefer a more eco-friendly mode of transport, the proximity of the Ourcq Canal makes the area ideal for cycling. What's more, you'll usually find Vélib' (self-service bicycle hire) stations nearby.
