Lovely stay over Christmas! Beautiful house and particularly excellent kitchen / breakfast bar area. Cosy warm rooms and spotlessly clean. We had a lovely time

We stayed here while visiting my sister who lives in the village. Really easy to find and right in centre of the village. While staying we went to Lancaster and Morecambe which are nearby. Very quiet at night. Butchers is just a minute walk away and he has lovely black pudding made on the premises. Would definitely stay here again.

This accommodation has the potential to be a lovely Airbnb. The home has a large main level, was stocked with children’s toys and family games and a large dining area. The 3 upstairs bedrooms and main bath are suitable for a family. Ample parking and close to some local pubs, fish & chips, butcher and shops for groceries. The shower in the master is very small and no hooks for hanging towels are provided. We were not provided garbage bags, dishwasher soap or ample toiletries for our stay. I had to clean the kitchen surfaces of food particles, the inside of the refrigerator before we could use it and the dining table was covered in what appeared to be construction dust. There were cobwebs on furniture and construction nails left in a nightstand. A professional cleaning & stocking of simple necessities would transform this place into a wonderful accommodation.

Comfortable and peaceful property. Plenty of room inside with great size kitchen Ideally located for the Lancashire Countryside and Lakes. Easy access to Coast. Walking distance to small Supermarket and lovely Canal.
