We loved our stay! We have small three small children and the private location, pool and home was perfect! Our very friendly and responsive host also offered our children local fruits and coconuts picked from the garden which was also a big hit for them. The BBQ area and patio was also great for the adults in our family. If you’re looking for a great location near Key West and Big Pine island for a family vacation, this house is definitely for you. We will absolutely return when we get back to the Florida Keys.

I booked this airbnb for a bachelor trip 3/14-3/18and it was by far worst stay any of us had have ever had. The behavior of the host and experience we had should not be acceptable by Airbnb under any circumstance. To start, 3/14, check in time was 5pm. As 5pm approached I still had not received any check in information from the host so I reached out to him. He responded and claimed the front gate of the house “just broke” and to just remove the bungee cord that was keeping the front gate closed. That night we decided to head out for dinner. As we were waiting for Ubers, the host WALKS UP TO THE HOUSE, unannounced, and with no prior knowledge. He seemed friendly enough but it was completely unacceptable and an invasion of our privacy. We immediately felt uncomfortable staying here. To add, we discovered several cameras on the exterior of the property, and the house itself looked nothing like the photos online.
