From the moment we arrived at the cottage to the moment we left, we felt completely at home. The cottage had everything we needed and they made it so simple for us to get into vacation mode as soon as we arrived. Beds were all made, towels were provided (which is so helpful, especially when on an island property). Any questions we had, we had answers in a timely manner. Cory and Lisa go above and beyond to ensure that we had the best stay ever. The personal note and snacks in the table when we arrived was an especially nice touch. They even left toothbrushes and toothpaste in case anyone forgot theirs. I especially appreciated this because even though none of us forgot a toothbrush, we have in the past and it was something that we would have had to go out and buy. The outhouse was unlike any other I’ve experienced. It was so clean, didn’t smell and was stocked up with toilet paper. Their dock, chairs, areas inside for sitting and eating were all perfect. The view was also incredible

Felt so privileged to be able to stay in such a gorgeous place right on the lake and swim all day. The kids had so much fun on the foam pad attached to the dock, we all went out on the canoe several times. Everyone loved eating meals in the screened-in gazebo on the deck, and the decor in the house was so distinctive and personal. The outhouse was so clean and easy to use, and I was glad we could be responsible and minimize our effect on the beautiful lake we traveled to swim in! Hosts were helpful, friendly and super-responsive. Their recommendation, Chef Henrie Bistro in Mactier, was delicious and not as busy at lunchtime. We'd love to return to this cottage again another summer :)
