Was an unbelievable trip. From check-in to checkout. Property was beautiful and relaxing. Scott was an amazing host, unbelievably attentive and responsive. Was a very gracious host! Would definitely book again.

My family and I stayed here for two nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. This gem was very clean, had all the amenities a person needs while away from home. The owners were very friendly and a pleasure to interact with. Lots of character with country charm and soft comfy beds.

The typical guests are most likely hunters, but it worked very well for us. It is very private, with Scott's house 250 meters away the only other occupied structure on the farm. We needed a place on relatively short notice for a KU football game, not too far distant from Lawrence (16 miles), and could also allow us to leave our dog unattended on game day. Turns out that Scott has an excellent chain link dog enclosure with insulated dog house at the lodge. The kitchen and laundry room are what I would call fully equipped, with detergents, cleaning products kitchen utensils, herbs and spices; it was all there. The welcome gift of a jar of clover honey from the farm's own apiary sweetened the deal.
