Melanie's cottage was a perfect base for our trip to Frome. The beds were incredibly comfortable, the shower was brilliant, and the place was immaculately clean. We hope to come back!

Beautiful small cottage in main street of a small village, though peaceful. 1 bedroom is spacious, the other one rather small. Very comfortable beds and lovely decoration. Good stay for a weekend.

Melanie was a great host, friendly, welcoming and always answered queries promptly. The property is central to village amenities such as local pub, lovely cafe and nice walks, however because of the location, we did find it rather noisy at times. It's on the main high street through the village, therefore traffic such as buses can be heard, which did disturb us at 6am on one occasion. The Nest is spacious and warm and cosy. The bed is very comfortable with quality linen so we slept well. There is storage in the main bedroom but none in the 2nd bedroom. which was fine for us with a 5 year old but may be slightly inconvenient if you have more luggage. The bathroom has quality fittings and although lovely with its traditional design, did pose a bit of a challenge for having a shower because of it's height and style. We liked the location with easy access to attractions in the area. We visited Warminster with it's nice boating lake and park and Shearwater lake with it's lovely cafe.

We had a wonderful stay at The Nest. It’s perfectly situated in a quaint village next to a lovely little pub that serves great food. We were 15 mins drive from Longleat which was perfect. Melanie was very attentive and checked in on us via message on multiple occasions. We can’t wait to come back xx
