The kitchen offers a microwave, air fryer, keurig and regular drip coffee machine. There is a mini-fridge and water cooler with complimentary water jugs. The BBQ on the deck includes propane and grilling tools! Lockside is a place for you to retreat, relax, and reset - all bedrooms offer comfortable beds, black out blinds/curtains, fans and usb outlets. The cottage is ideal for 6 guests but can accommodate 8 guests comfortably up to a maximum of 10 guests. The primary bedroom looks out onto the waterfront and features a comfortable queen sized bed. It has its own separate access to the deck and a separate work space to accommodate those who have to stay connected. The second bedroom has been a guest favourite with its camp-style theme and bunkbeds! It can accommodate up to 4 guests. The lower bunk is a double while the upper bunk is a twin. There is also a second twin size bed. In the warm summer months, a window air conditioner is put in to make sure all stay cool and comfortable. The third bedroom is quite cozy and offers a double-sized sofa bed. The walls are sound-proofed which makes it an ideal room to accommodate a pack and play for our youngest and equally important napping guests. The living room couch pulls out into a sofa bed and can accommodate an additional 2 guests. We take pride on the thorough cleanliness of everything in our cottage - especially the bedding! For this reason, we ask future guests to disclose their intent to travel with their furry companions so that additional pet friendly amenities can be provided. The property itself is flat and is perfect for seniors, young children, and pets! Challenge your guests to a friendly game of disc golf - one of the many lawn games we have available! Ambitious adventure seekers may choose to kayak from the cottage up the Tay Canal to the Perth Basin (9.7 km one way) or simply enjoy a quick paddle on the open water.
