Built in 1945, our house is located in the Historic Dignowity Hill Neighborhood east of downtown San Antonio.

This neighborhood has a rich history which dates back to the 1800's.
It was originally one of San Antonio's most affluent and exclusive neighborhoods adjacent to the downtown area. The neighborhood was Founded by Dr. Anthony Michael Dignowity who was a Czeck immigrant. He built his mansion on the highest point and when he passed, his home was demolished. Currently, it is known as Dignowity Park. To this day, the streets are still lined with a mix of Folk Victorian, early 20th century craftsmen and beautiful new builds resulting in a swift of the neighborhood's revitalization over the past decade. As San Antonio industry has changed over the last two centuries, those changes have been reflected in Dignowity Hill.

The neighborhood continues to bring in a new life welcoming a young generation of people who enjoy residing close to the downtown vibe of modern housing, friendly eateries and bars, and entertainment. Short-term rentals and tourism have also increased in the area bringing business to the neighborhood.
It's a quiet and safe neighborhood blocks away from the hustle and bustle of downtown San Antonio.

Has an Olympic size swimming pool; tennis courts; playground; Bar-b-que Grills; and great view of the Tower of the Americas and Alamo Dome. SO, BRING YOUR SWIMMING SUITS AND TENNIS RACKETS!
