Some positives and some negatives. Negatives - the property wasn't very clean when we arrived. I have photographs but the kitchen wasn't cleaned properly and there was dust hanging around various areas of the property. I'm guessing that was partly because the vacuum wasn't working, as in picking up, when we tried to clean. If the housekeeper uses the same vacuum, this would explain the dust but not the kitchen ! There were no written instructions. Apparently these were on a tablet which was locked to us and got replaced a couple of days later. As a default, there should aways be written instructions. The heating was not working when we arrived, and it was freezing. Due to the issue above we didn't know how to switch it on, and had to call for emergency assistance, who also didn't have duplicate written instructions so had to call the owner, who was on holiday ! Positives - overall a good standard of accommodation with good facilities and good bedding and towels.

Everything just seemed a little unkept and not checked. The Tablet which held all property info was locked and no password info provided. I would have hoped EV charger info was contained but as Tablet was locked we had to text/call/message via air bnb for password to unlock charger. The outside areas of the property just lacked maintenance front & back. No basic physical welcome pack held as a backup just a piece of A4 with WiFi password. The front of the drive way has no lights/branding with signage at night which made it very difficult to locate. Side of property had no light for EV charger which again made it challenging at night. Overall nice inside but a little run down
