The sophisticated Iakinthos villa, featuring a private pool of 30 sqm, is just 30 meters away from the sandy beach in Plakias village. A staircase leads to the first floor where there are two more master bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms and a large balcony where you can enjoy the unobstructed view to the sea. All bedrooms are equipped with King size beds and closets. All bathrooms in the residence have modern design and are equipped with high quality bathroom amenities. A washing machine is also provided. Outdoors there is a 28 sq.m. private swimming pool with deck chairs where you can relax under the Cretan sun and prepare a meal in the stone barbecue. The pool is surrounded by a beautiful garden with local plants. A parking space for your car is also available. Housekeeping is provided twice a week (or upon request). Baby cot and high chair are available on request without charge. This is a spacious, modern and well equipped villa. Spotless and very good WiFi. Comfortable beds and each bedroom with its own bathroom. Private terrace off the master room and very close to the beach. Some nearby bars and the main town area is easily walkable. Very responsive host and great vfm. We had a car and used it to explore the island, but there is a lot to do and see in the local area. Would definitely stay again.

Villa Iakinthos in Plakias is an absolute gem. It's one of the only houses across the beach that also has a pool and sea view from the garden. The house has all amenities you could ask for and is very clean. Manos was very proactive prior to our arrival and was flexible when our flight time changed. Maria, who welcomed us at the house, was very friendly and explained everything and checked in during our stay to see if we needed anything. We can also highly recommended using the concierge service. We booked massage and spa treatments that came to the villa and it was glorious. Definitely recommend.
Location was excellent and main asset. Clean home. Host was kind and responsive.
Das Haus ist wunderschön gelegen mit Meerblick, toller Dachterasse, Grill und sauberem Pool. Der schöne Strand von Plakias ist nur ein paar Meter entfernt. Jedes Zimmer hat ein eigenes Bad und im Wohn- &Essbereich ist viel Platz. Wir waren zu viert dort und hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit.

Plakias village is located 36 km south of the town of Rethymno (approximately 40 min. by car). You can reach our residences either by Chania Airport (approximately 90 min. by car) or Heraklion Airport (approximately 120 min. by car).
Plakias is built in the exit of a rich valley, surrounded by tall mountains and dense olive grove. Most of the houses are located near the small port of Plakias, surrounding the big arc-shaped bay. If you are fascinated by the panoramic view of the sea, you can visit the small village of Myrthios, up in the cliffs above Plakias, with an amazing view towards it.
A panoramic view is also offered from Sellia, another small village near Plakias.
At Plakias village, you will find everything you need, as there are a lot of shops and super-markets, rental and tourist offices.
Visitors choose to spend their vacation in Plakias for the clear water sea and the many beautiful beaches in the area.
The residences are right on the beautiful sandy beach of Paligremnos. The beach is organized with umbrellas and sun beds and the water is crystal clear.
The characteristic elements of Paligremnos are the nearby huge vertical rocks that rise over the beach.
A car is recommended for your transportation. We can organize a transfer in order to come to the villa and the day after rental cars can be delivered at the property (extra charge).

Hello there, I am Manos, owner and manager of CreteVillas4U. I have been in the hospitality sector long before CreteVillas4U, however. I was actually born, grew up, and spent most of my life in a hotel owned by my family. So, I guess it came as no surprise when I expressed my wish to study in Rhodes’ Tourism School and, later on, when I decided to start my own business in the sector. One thing I learned growing up in a family-run hotel is that hospitality is more than hotel management, logistics and operations. It is a culture, passing down from one generation to the next. You can study to be a hotel manager but you cannot study to be hospitable. I apply this philosophy in my business as well. The rule is simple: the guests of the villas I manage are my guests. As an active traveller, I expect nothing less myself. The fourth generation of Dafermos hoteliers has already been born. I know now that my two beautiful children will probably follow my steps, like I did before them. There is a small difference though: they are smarter, more educated, better (big smile).
