The host was incredibly kind and accommodating. The house itself was very comfortable, offering all the amenities we needed for a relaxing stay. We especially appreciated the host's generosity in allowing us a late checkout on our last day, giving us a bit more time to prepare everything for a next trip. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a hospitable and cozy accommodation.
Great location - feels like suburbs in the town centre. Buses stop in front of the house and bakery, butcher, pharmacy, small supermarket just a few steps away. Philip was a great host, always ready to help out and very flexible with the check-out time. Great stay !
L accueil a été parfait, nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Le centre ville est très facilement accessible par les transports en communs et proche des grands axes routiers et surtout en dehors du LEZ. Les pièces de vie sont agréables et spacieuses. Nous recommandons cette adresse pour les touristes. Le guide préparé par Philip nous a été très utile.

We live in a beautiful neighborhood with plenty of prestigious villas, certainly worth walking through.
Several parks (Den Brandt, Vogelzang, Middelheim) are very close and worth going to for a walk, run, or relax on one of the grass fields. Middelheim Park is an open-air Art Park and museum that can be visited for free. More info can be found on their website - search for "middelheimmuseum".
HOW TO GET TO THE CITY AND BACK?
- Taxi or Uber
- Steps (Bird, Lime, Poppy)
- Car sharing (Green mobility, Poppy)
- Bus 180-183 leaves across the door every 15-20 mins during daytime. Key stops are the KMSKA (museum of modern arts) which is in the Antwerp South area or the Groenplaats, which is the main square in the city center of Antwerp and will take 15-20 mins to get to.
- Bus 17 goes to the Antwerp Central Station.
- Tram station ‘Olympiade’ is 3 mins walking and trams 6 or 2 go to the City Center.
- Bike ‘Velo’ from the city of Antwerp. You have the stop ‘Corbusier’ at walking distance and there are plenty of stops in the city. You have to pay with your visa/mastercard.
PARKING:
Free street parking is available for guests in all the surrounding streets. If you go to the city and park there, please make sure to read any parking signs and regulations as some streets around us have parking meters.
