Close to lakes, mountains, and the city of Portland when you stay at this quiet and comfortable place. Queen-sized bed in the basement of our gambrel-style home. Mini fridge in room. Fire pit outside.

Pamela and Steve were very warm and welcoming. We have stayed at many AirBnB's and since we were Pamela's first-ever client we were able to provide some feedback, minor items, so she could tweak the user experience. They have a dog, Sampson, who is a boxer mix. He is a timid fella, but you could see him trying to come out of his shell. We love dogs so this was a fun experience as I tried to befriend him. He went to my wife, no problem. We travel quite a bit and have stayed at many houses so we try to be respectful of other people's living space since they are sharing it with us. We appreciate Steve and Pamela's generosity in sharing their home with us. They were well-organized, considerate, and thoughtful which means a lot to us. In summary, would we stay there again? You betcha! ;-)

We’re recent empty-nesters who miss having people in the house. We’re also “foodies “. Steve is quite the cook! He went to Culinary Arts school back in the 80s. Pam enjoys tending the garden and keeping her 13 hens happy! I have a degree in Social Sciences and currently work as a Personal Support Specialist for the elderly, helping them to stay in their homes as long as they want to. I formerly tutored for 12 years at the local high school .
