Beautiful property in a secluded area right on the lake!

This is our second time staying here, and we enjoyed it all again! The water was great for swimming, canoeing, kayaking, and paddle boarding. The view of the lake is terrific and the cottage is cozy. Since we ate almost all our meals at the cottage, we appreciate the well-equipped kitchen too. This week long visit there was not a lot of lake traffic (boats/jet skis), so it was pretty quiet overall.

We were thrilled to return to the Loon’s Nest! The water was beautiful and the loons were on display! We played, read, and swam. On the last night we were treated to beautiful fireworks over the lake. Wonderful week away!

Quintessential Maine lakeside cottage, but with lots of updates to make it feel clean and comfortable. We had a great week swimming, fishing, kayaking, and canoeing. It's a lovely spot on a lovely lake with views of the islands. Well appointed kitchen, nicely updated bathroom. The screened porch is lovely and saw lots of use. It's a small cottage but the space is used well and our family of four was very comfortable. Highly recommended.
