We spent a wonderful evening at Welch Mountain. Mary and John were welcoming and helpful. The accommodations were clean, comfortable, and quiet. The gas stove in the bedroom made it very warm and cozy. I especially appreciated that we could bring our dog. Breakfast in the morning was really outstanding! So many delicious items - all homemade. I would definitely come for a return visit if we are in the area again!

Terrific Airbnb with wonderful hosts. The breakfasts are something I’ll always remember, wow. One or both of them must have worked in a kitchen at some point. The place is cozy and well thought out and the location is perfect if you like to ski or hike. Lots of great trails nearby. Both hosts are caring people who went above and beyond to ensure a great stay. Highly recommend! Thank you!

We are repeat guests at Welch Mountain and had such a memorable stay the first time that we were excited to return. John, Mary, and Klaus are consummate hosts, offering guidance to local attractions (such as the trailheads for Welch-Dickey and Smarts Brook hiking trails), restaurants and taverns, etc. John prepared the firepit for us to enjoy after returning from a day on the trails. The accommodations are welcoming and cozy, and the breakfast was magnificent (as we had experienced before, one of the reasons we were back). Another lovely visit to the heart of the White Mountains. We will be back.

Both of the hosts were so kind and welcoming in this space that is perfectly located near both Loon and Waterville Valley for skiing. I loved the gas fireplace in the main room. The breakfast was delicious, especially since the power went out across the whole region during the night and they managed to get creative enough to feed us delicious food in the morning without power! We also left a sweater behind and they were kind enough to send it in the mail-- wonderful hosts. Also loved the sweet german shepherd.

loved Mary's place! the suite is covered in cedar wood. we loved the little fire place in the bedroom and the heated floor in the bathroom. felt like a sauna ! breakfast was really good too. we're planning on coming back in the spring.
