Welcome to our 5-star rated, bright and sunny, dog-friendly carriage house on Cornell's campus. Walk or bike ride to Cornell's North Campus (.5 miles), Forest Home and Cayuga Heights, or drive to nearby Flat Rock (.7 miles), the Cornell Botanic Gardens (.8 miles), or Sapsucker Woods (1.3 miles). We are located 2.2 miles from the airport. Enjoy our place year-round for your visit to Cornell University or Ithaca College, or as as your launch point for your relaxing getaway in the Finger Lakes. It's hard to beat our location - The property is adjacent to the Robert Trent Jones Golf Course and is walking distance to Cornell's North Campus and Botanic Gardens. Easy access to Rt 13 from Warren Road makes this the perfect launch point for exploring all that Ithaca has to offer. Photos on IG in "Ithaca" highlight at @harborhansenproperties! The unit is hosted by an experienced Superhost and includes the following: -Brand new (October 2023) kitchenette w/ sink and stovetop -Basic kitchen tools and prep area including Keurig, toaster, small refrigerator, microwave, disposable plates, cups & cutlery -Air conditioning & heat -Outdoor seating & grill -Clean sheets and towels -Comfortable bed and seating area, including daybed -Washer & dryer (ask for access), closet & desk space -Television, desk & workspace -Inflatable mattress and extra sheets All furnishings were updated in Summer/Fall 2023. There is one queen bed and a blow up mattress w/ extra linens. Note: There is no oven in the unit. Only basic pots and pans are provided for minimal cooking. Think stovetop macaroni and cheese, pasta, and eggs. Note: The sleeping area is at the top of a staircase and is not accessible. Note: 1 small leashed dog may be allowed upon request. No smoking. No parties. *The unit has skylights. If you are sensitive to light, this unit is not for you. You will enjoy bright mornings!

The location is ideal for visiting Ithaca and/or Cornell. You’re surrounded by the Cornell golf course so it’s green and lush. The main living space is clean and bright, the bed is very comfortable, and the shower is divine. The efficiency kitchen is cute and compact - go light on cold foods as it’s a mini fridge - but otherwise it’s got everything you need. Easy laundry right next to kitchen. Great setup for working remote. We would definitely come again!
My daughter and I stayed because of an event at Cornell. It was such an easy drive everywhere and the place was beautiful, simple, peaceful and pristine! It had everything we needed for our short stay. It was easy to find with detailed instructions. I did have to read carefully to find the appropriate entrance and I’ve never used a key box before so that took me a minute to figure out, but everything was wonderful. I even took some office work with me and had a nice place to work while I was there. I’d definitely stay with Lindsay again if I was in the area.
Lindsey's place is an old carriage house--- redone. I plunged on just on the look of the outside photo. Once inside everything was great, very comfortable for 2 people. (In fact, the upper floor could accommodate a bowling alley! (Quite spacious---hey, that's a free tip for other AirBnB-ers.) Also, nice view from the upper windows. Quiet and peaceful but quick access to Ithaca. We couldn't have enjoyed it more. Thanks, Lindsey!
My daughter and I felt very safe and comfortable at the Carriage House in Ithaca. The main residence was separate so we had the entire "house" to ourselves. The surroundings were so quiet and peaceful; yet close to my daughters dorm at Cornell. The Carriage house (and surroundings) were spotless and the white bedding and duvet felt so luxurious. On our last day, we relaxed while enjoying our coffee and the beautiful views. Lindsay said "take your time" which was much appreciated. We met Lindsay on our way out; she was incredibly gracious and had immense knowledge of Cornell. This was the best Airbnb by far; and we will definitely be back!
