Our first use of Airbnb to do an overnight trip to Fergus. Wil and Alan were very accommodating and flexible with our booking if we wished to make changes due to the forecasted rain . Alan met us after we arrived to ensure we had everything we needed, even a glass of wine. Lovely and comfortable bedroom (we were able to choose which of the rooms we wished to use), and a spacious bathroom, with a shower. Being an older home , it retained its character with the decorative plaster ceilings and adorable little reflective stars on the ceiling, along with the occasional squeaky floors (original hardwood). Property has beautiful outdoor sitting areas if you wish to use and backs onto a large greenspace- lovely neighborhood and close enough you can walk to the downtown core of Fergus. From the welcoming snacks and wine to the well stocked bathroom and bedrooms, this spot is a winner.. we truly felt at home… will have to come back in the summer as it promises to be a beautiful spot judging from the green ‘life’ bursting out of the ground in spite of the snow.. I think it would be quite pleasant to sit out in the yard…

Wil's place felt like home. Very comfortable , safe and clean. I would stay at his place again when travelling in the area.

We had such a lovely stay at Wil's place. The rooms were elegantly set up with ample space in each room. The beds were very comfy, feeling like one was being cocooned into deep slumber. The neighbourhood is quiet, and had we more time it looked to be a wonderful area to go for a walk. The house is just under a kilometer from town so it is a walkable distance to explore the town of Fergus. The only downside, if one would call it that ;-), is there were no herbal tea options available. As someone who is allergic to caffeine, that would have been a nice treat. The rooms were quite warm, so I would have had the temperature down slightly. But if the lack of herbal tea and a warm bedroom is all that was an issue, one can be sure that it was overall a visit of perfection. Thank you Wil, Alan & Amanda for opening the home to us. Can't wait to come back again.
