There were issues with a hole in the bathroom floor which made the shower unusable. The heating did not work and there was a very noticeable smell of cigarette upon check-in. HOWEVER….. this property is very cheap for what you getting! Excellent location… with excellent transport links and walkable distances. Extremely flexible hosts allowing me to check in 30min early and very polite and kind when resolving issues. I would highly recommend staying in this property.

The studio is very clean and tidy and when I got there, there was nothing bad to say. The place was clean and tidy and had everything I needed with a nice scenery review. The host always responded and helped me out so much to fit my needs for the stay. The instructions were very clear and had no problem when arriving. One of the best experiences I have had.

I’ve stayed here a number of times and love it every single time!! This is deffo my ‘go to’ for an affordable yet stylish studio apartment. It has everything you need for a short stay and has been immaculate every time I’ve stayed. Modern is a fabulous host and I look forward to staying here again! Thankyou :)

It's a very basic set up, though relatively comfortable. The bathroom is quite tatty, not very clean, and the shower is only just acceptable. The kitchen wasn't especially clean, though the main living area was fine. The bed is very firm, which suited us! The location is good as it's such an easy walk into central Newcastle, or a very quick uber ride. It's next to a trainline, but the building is very quiet and we didn't hear any trains at all. Acceptable if you really just need somewhere very basic to stay overnight, but for the money I'm not sure it's the best value.

Great place to stay easy walking distance from Newcastle Station & the Town Centre.Was very warm & cosy with the heater on & loved that there was a balcony. Would definitely without hesitation come back here when visiting Newcastle again, hopefully will stay longer than just one night.Thought it was great that the check out was midday which made it much more relaxing as no need to rush in the morning.
