We spent two nights at the Toonhouse using it as a base while visiting family. Check-in was very easy and Sandra was very responsive and helpful with local suggestions. The house itself is great, it's a quirky design over four floors and is well appointed throughout. We really appreciated the welcome pack after a long drive. We would definitely stay at the Toonhouse again.

What a lovely stay. The house was so warm and welcoming with everything you need. Really comfortable beds and living room. Kitchen was really well equipped and everything was super clean. Shower was powerful. Choice of coffee machines is always a bonus! Everything you thought you needed was just there, Sandra had thought of everything. Sandra was so helpful and proactive. The welcome pack was extremely thoughtful and personalised to our trip. Had the pleasure of meeting Sandra as we left. Would definitely rebook Sandra’s place. Although it’s on a housing estate it’s right on the edge and is really quiet, with sweet little garden.

Sandra knows what she’s doing! She thought of everything and she communicates very well. The apartment has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The beds and linens were great, the shower was wonderful with plenty of hot water and pressure. We had a car, so the parking at the door was a big plus. There are a lot of stairs inside, so that may be an issue for some, but we are retirees and it wasn’t too many for us. We also drove everywhere, since it really wasn’t what we would consider walkable, but we didn’t have an issue with that either. All in all, great place and we would stay there again!
