We visited the Old Dairy as a family of four. We were looking for a rural location, but a property that would offer a feel of luxury to our kids, near to the coast and as we wanted to take the sleeper train to Cornwall, wanted a place that was still accessible without a car. The Old Dairy ticked all our boxes. Being greeted with a home-made welcome cream tea, a bottle of bubbly and chocolates for the kids, it really felt like the luxury holiday the children had longed for. We really liked the modern glass front of the property and how private it still felt to us due to its rural location. Despite being there during a storm, we felt quite sheltered by the surrounding hills and Kevin checked in on us and gave us useful tips on what to do in the surrounding area as well as how to get around without a car. We found plenty of things to keep us busy, so that our daughter never even noticed there was a storm. Having board games meant we could also stay in and just be cosy. A fantastic stay!

Kate and Kevin maintaining their place with the highest standards .They were genuinely care about their guests and their place is so peaceful to relax and 15 -20 mins drive to visiting places in Cornwall .Thanks much for all the good facilities Kevin and Kate.Would definitely recommend to anyone

We had a lovely stay. The property is surrounded by large gardens and it would be ideal for children to let off steam. It is peaceful and the balcony means you can enjoy the evening wildlife and birdsong. The accommodation was clean, warm and the owners had left us a cream tea and some bubbly which was a great touch. It is only a few miles to the supermarket or takeaways if you need anything but the owners have chickens where you can buy fresh eggs. We would stay again.

We had a lovely, relaxing three nights at the Old Dairy. Kate and Kevin were very friendly and welcoming and always replied quickly to any messages. When we arrived, we discovered that they left us some lovely treats in the kitchen! The house was clean and was just like the images on the website. Everything worked and the king size bed was very comfortable. It was a very quiet, peaceful and rural location.
