it was a beautiful house. Great place to stay if you want to feel right at home.
Sawyer Farmhouse was a relaxing and comfortable place to stay for 5 friends traveling together. Beds were comfortable; rooms were spacious and the house was nicely decorated. Thoughtful touches as night lights, paper goods, spices and kitchen equipment were provided.
The house and amenities were as described. No issues and very responsive. The only problems were with the internet. Simply no service even with the log in. I personally had no issues but some in our group needed it for work so that was a problem. And the smoke detectors. They went off while warming up a pot of soup. No smoke-nothing. Again the next morning they went off the entire time we attempted to cook breakfast. No one was burning anything and they went off. The only other thing that would have been nice would have been a bit later checkout time. 10AM is pretty early if you want to plan to cook breakfast and get packed up while vacationing.
Everything was great !!! Perfect location within 10-15 minutes of New Buffalo, Union Pier, Lakeside, and Harbert.
This was perfect for a girls weekend. The beds were comfy and we loved the that there was a large dining table for our game night.
