I’ve had this airbnb on my wish list for over a year and after finally booking, I am wondering what took me so long! This was a lovely, peaceful retreat for my me and my husband. Would love to come back and stay longer. Everything was in place for us and we felt welcome and quickly at home. We could have easily just spent 2 days in the home, and never left. That is the Catch 22 of booking such an incredible stay! But alas, the airbnb is close to the beaches, restaurants, bakeries (yum) and other shops, so we had easy access to all the things we wanted to do. We will easily come back to the area and this will be our first choice for our home base.

We loved our stay in Harbert! Sharon's cottage was perfect for our weekend getaway. Very relaxing and allowed us to unplug and reset for a weekend. It was our first time to the southwest Michigan area and there was a lot of great things to do. Sharon and Laura were very helpful with recommendations and the binder of suggestions was perfect for us to plan some stops to eat and shop for the weekend (the welcome brownies were delicious too!). The cottage was very clean and very cozy, I loved the kitchen and was impressed with how well stocked it was. In addition to all of the other amenities being able to sit in the hot tub and look at the stars on a clear night was a huge highlight for us!

House was really cozy. The bed made me fall asleep every time I laid down. Kitchen was so useful because of how stocked it was with cooking supplies. The hot tub was absolutely soothing and therapeutic. The crickets and the frog noises made me feel right at home. I hope to come back when warmer so I can check out the private beach

The home was perfect for our little family getaway. Although the weather was chilly, we enjoyed the outdoor space and nearby Cherry Beach. The location was also perfect for a quick day trip to Chicago. I highly recommend staying here! Thanks for hosting us, Sharon and Laura!

We had such a nice, peaceful stay! The house is beautiful and very comfortable. Definitely recommend.
