All in all a good stay. I will say that the communication when reaching out needs to be better. It took almost 24 hours before someone messaged me back. The only other complaint I would say would be to get nicer pots and pans. We decided not to cook at all since they were worn down so bad. There was a musky smell when you entered the home and it mostly smelled in the main room with the tv. It’s a beautiful little cabin.

Such a cute place! We did have some issues getting a hold of the host to figure out how to get in the house. We had to wait quite a while before finally calling Evolve and they contacted the house cleaner to get the code. It was very strange because with other AirBNB rentals, the instructions started pouring in the morning of arrival and I didn’t see anything like that from this rental. We were very tired and weren’t happy to have to sit and wait for an extended time on the porch, waiting for instructions. I was also disappointed that there was no booklet or folder of things to do, places to eat, or instructions on how to get to the public beach. We had never visited the area, so we were lost when it came to where and what to do. The homeowner did finally email me back, but I had to ask. The pictures were very true to the real thing and the house was very clean. He told me that they had just acquired the property, so I am hopeful that hospitality will increase with each renter.

I was surprised to find neither of the bedrooms had doors. They only had a curtain separating the bedrooms from the rest of the house. Not much privacy.
