Unwind in a secluded and cozy upstate escape on 6+ wooded acres off a dead-end road while relaxing to the tune of Callicoon Creek. This newly renovated and thoughtfully designed home has multiple lounging areas, a wood-burning fireplace, hot tub, and fire pit. We are less than 15 minutes from the most charming Catskill Main Streets of Livingston Manor, Roscoe, Jeffersonville, and Callicoon and a five-minute walk to Callicoon Hills for dinner or coffee. Bring your family + dog out to the country! You enter the house into the large sun-drenched living room with a lounge area to hang out next to the fully stocked chef's kitchen. Keep walking into the blue stone room for movie nights on the huge sectional by the wood-fired fireplace or entertain at the table for eight. Also on the main floor, there is a large primary bedroom and full bathroom as well as an office/ library filled with vintage furniture. Upstairs, you'll find two large bedrooms with king beds: the World Traveler room and the Gilded Age. You'll also find a sun-drenched full bath with funky tile finishes. Outside, there are six acres to explore including a landscaped chef's garden, meditation garden with hot tub, wrap-around porch with grill + sun loungers, and dining for six. Wander around the property to the firepit or down the path to a large wooded area for a short hiking loop with your dog.

My friends and family had a great time staying at Megan’s house! The house was spacious, clean, and the robes in every room were a nice touch. My dog loved running around in nature, and we loved using the hot tub and grill on the patio. The hosts were flexible about the check out time too, which we really appreciated!
The cabin was a perfect retreat. The wood stove and hot tub were definitely an added bonus. Would definitely rent the cabin again for a great get away!
We spent 3 cozy nights in Megan’s cabin and truly enjoyed our stay! The house is on private land so it feels secluded but still very safe. We spent lots of time on the spacious patio hanging out and grilling dinner. We built fires both outside and in the inside fireplace to make the night time more relaxing. The hosts have tons of puzzles, books, and games for screen free entertainment as well. The hosts also provide tons of local recommendations so that you can explore the surrounding area as well! We highly recommend Megan’s place for your next restorative trip upstate!
Our stay at the Catskills chalet was wonderful! Love how the owners are preserving the historical charm as well as making modern updates for a relaxing stay. The beds and mattresses were comfortable, the kitchen stocked with everything that’s needed, grounds ready to be explored and hiked… we enjoyed the fire pit outside and watched our kids run up and down the property exploring the various things they found in nature. The roaring brook nearby can be heard from the hot tub and makes for a pleasant atmosphere. It was a wonderful house to stay at, and relax in. The host was super helpful with activity planning as well, and ultra responsive overall.

Property is nestled on six private acres of forest and meadows with meandering stone walls. Its the perfect base camp for relaxing in nature while being only 10 minutes from James Beard nominated restaurants (Arnold House & The DeBruce), delicious breweries, and tranquil museums. You’re just a few short minutes from Jeffersonville for basics and a few minutes further to hot spots like Livingston Manor and Callicoon. Our next door neighbor is boutique hotel Callicoon Hills that is about a 1 minute drive or 10 minute walk for coffee shop, restaurant, and bar.
