Sea Bliss is a beachfront property on the Emerald Coast of Gulf Shores. Located on the Fort Morgan Peninsula, Sea Bliss offers eight bedrooms each with a private ensuite, two half baths, an open-concept living and dining room, an additional family room on the top floor, an interior elevator, and heated pool with uninterrupted views of the Gulf. Sea Bliss, built in 2018, is a completely private beachfront home that sleeps 22 guests. Small dogs are welcome, requires host approval and a small fee. Highway 180 is a scenic stretch of road between Alabama’s beautiful Gulf Coast to the south, and Bon Secour Bay to the north. The highway connects downtown Gulf Shores to the tip of the peninsula at "the Fort" and Fort Morgan Ferry, which goes to Dauphin Island. The drive down Old Fort Morgan Highway is visually stunning. The road rambles through undisturbed Southern woods and past the wide waters of the Little Lagoon before opening to a dramatic northern vista where Mobile Bay meets Bon Secour Bay. Sea Bliss is a gorgeous beachfront home on the west side of the Surfside Shores subdivision of Fort Morgan, an area of Gulf Shores, Alabama. This beachfront beauty has panoramic views of the Emerald Coast, with private beach access directly off of the southern-facing porch. Sea Bliss is on a private beach, with no public beach access points within half a mile of the home’s “front yard.” Beats Working Vacation Rentals was referred to a lovely Tennessee couple by one of our favorite local Alabama real estate agents, Sam Bass, in July of 2023. Our clients had a vision of turning Sea Bliss into a top-notch, upscale vacation destination, and we’re beginning those renovations in October of 2023. Although this beachfront home was newly built in 2018, we felt it needed a few upgrades to take it to the next level, including, but not limited to, updating the master bathroom, creating more closet space, building out a pantry suitable for large parties, adding a fresh coat of paint throughout the interior and exterior of the home, all new interior and exterior furniture, fresh linens throughout, and a new heated pool. This eight-bedroom, eight-full bath, and two-half bath home offers an open concept living/dining space and a second family room on the top floor. The vaulted ceiling and open floor plan make this beachfront home really stand out. Each Sea Bliss bedroom offers a full bath ensuite. The home also has an elevator and one handicap accessible bedroom with ensuite on the main floor. Every room has undeniably gorgeous views of the Emerald Coast, as does the southern-facing porch, which is probably where you will spend most of your beach vacation—pool side. Sea Bliss can accommodate up to 22 guests comfortably, utilizing five king beds, two queen beds, and two sets of full over full bunk beds. We do not offer sleeper sofas. The interior living space is 4,316 square feet. Like most beach homes, our house is on pilings. The main level of the home is elevated, however we do have an interior elevator, so guests do not need to climb stairs to access any floor of the home. The entry door is on the south side of the downstairs foyer. There is a lockbox entry on this door. Guests will be given the access code to the lockbox prior to their arrival. The entrance call houses a locked supply closet for the homeowners, ample space for storing travel equipment, the elevator entry, and the first flight of stairs. Upon entry into the main floor of the home, guests are greeted by a bright open-concept living/dining/kitchen area. This layout is perfect for enjoying friends and family – not to mention the incredible views of the Gulf of Mexico. The living room has ample seating for guests, all living room furnishings were purchased in the winter of 2023. The living room also has a large flat-screen smart television with cable access. Guests are to sign in to their own app accounts and are responsible for signing out upon departure. This is the perfect space to enjoy a board game, the big game, or a late-night movie with the family. The kitchen is fully stocked with more than the basics; large island, abundant counter space, pots and pans, glass tupperware, baking dishes, a drip coffee pot, a K-cup coffee maker, a tea kettle, crockpot, toaster, double oven, two dishwashers, two refrigerators, three sinks, and ample plates/cups/utensils. Our goal is to have everything you need to make a holiday feast for the family. If we have not stocked an item that is needed, please let us know. We provide complimentary starter packs of coffee, creamer, sugar, basic kitchen spices, and cooking oils. Guests can also snag more of these items from Sassy Bass Market, which is within two miles of the house. The kitchen dining table has seating for twelve, while the kitchen bar seats six. There is an additional dining table on the pool deck, seating six. There is an additional kitchenette/ large laundry room off the kitchen which houses the third kitchen sink, additional counter space, the second refrigerator with freezer, the main floor washer and dryer, and extra storage space. Sea Bliss has five king master bedrooms with private ensuites. Two of the king suites are on the main level of the home. The northwest main level bedroom is handicap accessible and directly across from the elevator access. Offering ample space for getting around in the bedroom, bathroom, and walk-in closet the doorways for this room are also wide enough to ensure floor space for a wheelchair to maneuver through openings. This bedroom features a king bed, night stands with reading lamps, mounted flat-screen television, and private bath. Its private three-piece bath has a curbless roll-in shower with proper support bars, a loo with proper support bars, and a marble top vanity with ample counter space, fresh linens, and travel amenities. The vanity is not wheelchair accessible. The southwest main level king bedroom is located off the living room. It features breathtaking views of the Gulf, a comfy king bed, nightstands with reading lamps, dresser, a flat-screen smart television, ample storage space, and a private ensuite. It's private three-piece has a walk-in shower, double vanity with counter space, and a private loo closet. The other three king master ensuites can be found on the south side of the top floor. They each feature a king bed, a flat-screen smart television, a chest of drawers, two nightstands with reading lamps, closet space for storing luggage, and a private bath. Each three-piece bath has a walk-in shower, a loo, and a marble top vanity with abundant counter space, fresh linens, and travel amenities. The queen bedroom is on the northwest side of the top floor. It offers two queen beds, one nightstand with reading lamp, dresser, closet space, and private ensuite. This guest room has a three-piece private bathroom that mirrors the ensuite found in the top floor king bedrooms. Two bunk rooms are on the east side of the top floor. Each offering a full over full style bunk bed, one nightstand with reading lamp, dresser, closet space, and private ensuite. Each three-piece ensuite has a walk-in shower, a loo, and a marble top vanity with abundant counter space, fresh linens, and travel amenities. There are two full-size washer and dryer sets for guests to use. One set is in the kitchenette/laundry room on the main floor, the second set is on the top floor. Although we offer starter packs of laundry detergent, guests should always supply their own detergent for extended stays. The open-air outdoor shower is on the boardwalk and has both hot and cold water. Please always use the outdoor shower prior to getting in the pool. The Gulf water is not good for our pool, ensuring your swim trunks are well rinsed from the Gulf and the sand is appreciated. Sea Bliss has a propane grill. Grill utensils and propane are provided by the hosts. If you are low on propane please reach out via text message so we can exchange your tanks. When grilling, please pull the grill away from the home and out from under the covered portion of the deck. Our beaches are quiet and not publicly accessible. Although downtown Gulf Shores is 20 minutes away, there are plenty of places to eat and have fun on our side of the island.
