It was perfect for the 5 of us. Very comfortable. Great location to drive to Gloucester and Rockport. Good restaurant across the street. Would stay here again if we are back in the area.

I am by no means an expert on AirBnBs, but this place was definitely NOT worth it. The host is not very responsive, we got check in details with 20 minutes to spare before arrival. The place is very old, weathered, and not attractive at all. Further, there were ZERO basic amenities in the apartment. For example, NO hand soap or hand towel in the bathroom!! Seriously? When I complained the next day via “message” I was told “Those things are in the closet near the bathroom.” So let me get this straight. I go #2, finish, walk over to the sink, see no soap or towel and THEN grab a bunch of door knobs to figure out where this stuff is? Gross. I mean, that is BASIC stuff in a rental. Hand soap= $1.87 at Crosbys market. And no, you don’t go around opening doors playing “guess where your basic amenities are?” We are guests. Further, heads up on the no-cancel fee. Folks, there are way nicer hotels nearby in Gloucester for less $$. We got burned. Look elsewhere.

Nice neighborhood, near town hall and the library, good restaurants, grocery and the train..nice walk to the beach.

We had a great stay in the apartment, and would definitely return in the summertime. The apartment is spacious and in a great location to be able to walk to all of the surrounding restaurants, beaches and parks.
