Enjoy tranquility and wildlife from this safe haven just outside Houston. Perfect for Family Reunions, Church Retreats, or "Group Getaways.” Located on 16 acre farm. Most of the land is cleared, but some is forested. Natural creek, pond, farm animals and wildlife watching. Fresh eggs daily you may gather. This bass are biting, bring your fishing rods! A peaceful place of restoration awaits you...

Have you ever wanted to stay in a true log cabin, that’s not in the middle of nowhere? This is it!! This cabin exceeded all of our expectations! Spacious floor plan accommodated all 9 guests. Bedrooms were comfortable. Kitchen was easy to work in. Grand room had space for everyone. Bathrooms were plentiful. Dinner table had plenty of space, even included a high chair for our toddler! A nice fenced in area to let all our dogs get off leash for awhile! The pond let us catch and release fish as our hearts desired! Our toddler enjoyed feeding the chickens AND PIGS!! You can see that the host is constantly making improvements. Our weekend was wonderful but, I’m excited to see this place in 6 or 12 months! Our host was very helpful, responded to questions quickly, and let us enjoy our weekend. They also welcomed feedback with suggestions for the future. We have zero complaints and, we look forward to staying here again!

Our log cabin home is surrounded by farms. It is generally very quiet here. If you need some convenient supplies quickly, we have two Dollar Generals within 10 minutes, and a gas station 2 minutes away. The gas station is a great place to buy fishing bait!
Dominoes does deliver, and has gluten free options!
The donut shop in Old Magnolia is great- even has a drive thru!
Be sure to have dinner at Blue Iguana (closed Mondays) and order the Birria Tacos. You won't regret it. For closer mexican food, we love the Asada Fries at the taco truck on Butera Rd!
You are welcome to park anywhere in front of the house. Please drive on the designated gravel road. Parking in front of smaller guest house is OK too.

Hi! We are Will & Kristen and are excited to share our beautiful cabin with you! Our hobby farm has a natural creek on it, along with a serene fishing pond. We usually have chickens, pigs, and farm cats around! During your stay please expect to see us feeding chickens 1-2 times a day. We stay in a small guest home on the property. You will have complete privacy, and the land is yours to enjoy! If you have any questions please text! Welcome!
