Absolutely smashed the ball out of the park! Couldn’t fault the hosts or the house, absolutely stunning location. Pete and Liz were super helpful in every way they could, from local walk advice to bird spotting knowledge. The house is even more stunning than the pics, the jacuzzi is wonderful for post walk relaxation. The kitchen is incredibly well equipped and the beds were so comfy we were tempted to not even explore and spend all day at this amazing house. Walking distance to the station and good amenities (mechanics for when our car keys decided to stop working!) We booked at 11pm the night before but due to amazing host reply times we woke up to messages and were able to arrive at the house by lunch time the next day. Can’t wait to come back for another adventure!

Exactly like in the pictures! Beautiful modern house with top quality amenities and furniture (super comfy bed). Peter and Liz are great hosts too.

Luxurious acommodation, strategically located with many tourist sights and activities within an easy drive. beautifully designed, very functional accommodation; we always looked forward to returning there after long days out and about. Everything was thought of including lots of extra provisions, delicacies and breakfasts. The fabulous fireplace is a big bonus as was Nefflix. Incredibly comfortable bed with extra towels provided; very handy after the deliciously hot spa experience. Highly recommended.

Peter and Liz were the consummate hosts. They were unobtrusive on the whole - cooking dinner or making breakfast. They could be around if needed or out of the way when not. They seem to find a perfect balance between living their own lives, and being around when necessary. Always helpful to make your stay simple, easy and as enjoyable as possible. Peter and Liz also provided local literature, and a handmade portfolio of the local restaurants, coffee, shops, cafes, and other items of interest in a small yet detailed folder. This enables you to quickly and easily plan and arrange your time in and around Blackheath. The newly built home was as well described and even better in the real skin. Of note was the large rear deck overlooking the valley; the Jacuzzi, which is preheated to use at 40° C, with high pressure Jets and bubbles on tap. The galley kitchen is of modern amenities, including twin ovens, microwave, dual fridge freezers, large island bench space, and walk in pantry.
